Special Branch
Working in partnership with internal and external partners, Special Branch has a key role in protecting communities and maintaining order.
To do this Special branch collates, assess and disseminates intelligence related to
- Terrorism
- Domestic Extremism
- Public Order
- Espionage
Special Branch policing includes policing the Ports of Cairnryan and Loch Ryan, it also includes officers trained to supply counter terrorism security advice.
