Police Staff
Police staff carry out specialised functions that allow our police officers to carry out the duties they are trained for. As we are one of the smallest forces in Scotland we expect our staff to work as part of the team, not just as individuals.
We currently employ around 300 police staff and are constantly adding to and amending our list of current vacancies. Police staff are involved in a wide variety of roles including: administration, analysis, call handling, driving, finance, fleet maintenance, searching, and many more.

LGBT Charter
The HR & Diversity Services and the Learning & Development Department of the force received LGBT Charter status in August 2008. This was in recognition that the work of this department is proactive in meeting the needs of LGBT people and staff throughout the recruitment process and in employment.
